Reaching out

As a church, we support a number of charities both in the UK and around the world, out of the gifts given by our congregations. These are some of the organisations we work with.

The Salvation Army

Volunteer packing box labelled Toys and Tins

Each Harvest Festival, generous donations of non-perishable foods are made by members of our churches, and these are taken to the Citadel for the Norwich Food Bank.

At Christmas, new toys are donated at our Gift Services for the Toys and Tins appeal, and distributed to children in the Norwich area who might not otherwise receive Christmas presents.

St James' Hospital, Mantsonyane, Lesotho

Lesotho has 60 per cent unemployment, widespread poverty and a lack of natural resources. A recent UNICEF report predicted that 24 per cent of children in the country would be orphaned (due to HIV/AIDS) by 2010. St James' Hospital offers medical outreach to a community high up in the mountains of Lesotho.
