Our eight parishes, Bedingham, Fritton, Hardwick, Hempnall, Morningthorpe, Shelton, Topcroft and Woodton sit in quiet countryside between the main roads linking Norwich, Diss and Bungay. The charm of the area lies in its ordinariness, and in the landscape, farmed by local landowners. The villages are in comfortable commuting distance of Norwich, but there is also economic activity in the villages - not only agricultural but also manufacturing and a wide variety of small businesses, many home-based. There are three schools in the group, and many families have lived here for generations. Newcomers are made welcome in this strong community.
