Celebrating creation care at Norwich Cathedral on 10 May

Everyone is invited to a special afternoon at Norwich Cathedral on Sunday 10 May to celebrate the ways we are already caring for the natural world and to consider how else our communities might come together for its healing and well-being.

The afternoon begins at 1.30pm with an invitation to picnic in the Cathedral Cloister or Garth (or else to buy lunch from Bread Source in the Refectory) and to wander around the stalls set up there by various environmental organisations, picking up ideas, being inspired by each other. The afternoon will culminate with Festal Evensong at 3.30pm which will start inside the Cathedral but end outside it!

It would be great if the Hempnall Group and the Brooke Benefice were represented by a really good crowd of people! If you’d like to come and would like a lift (or are able to offer one) please contact Susanna Gunner susanna.gunner@gmail.com or John Ash johnrvash@gmail.com

Group Walk May 2026

Thursday 14th May 10:00am            

The May walk on Thursday 14th will be from Sheringham Park out to the coast and back. It will be about 5/6 miles. Rhododendrons should be blooming. Meet in the car park at 10 am (National Trust members park for free). Shared travel could be considered. We plan to have lunch in the Reading rooms at High Kelling.
