Lent Lunches and Emmaus
Each year during Lent we enjoy simple lunches in aid of charity. This year we will be supporting Emmaus, locally based in Ditchingham.
Lent is a time for giving as well as ‘giving up’!
This year’s lunches:
Wednesday 4th March at 12 noon at Topcroft Pavilion
Monday 9th March at 12 noon at Hempnall Mill
There will be tasty home-made soups, biscuits and cheese.
There is no cost but donations to Emmaus.
It will be helpful if you can let Jackie or Margaret know that you will be coming.

St Catherine lies up an unmade-up track (loke) in the midst of fields. In the past it has been lit and heated with calor gas and the walls became very damp and damaged. There is now electricity to the church and new heating and lighting is being installed; work will start on repairing the plaster on the walls.…
