OCTOBER GROUP WALK
Our October walk will be on 19th October at 2pm from Saxlingham Nethergate sports field NR15 1SS. The walk is about 4 miles along country lanes and footpaths. Tea will be at Hempnall church afterwards. Please text Andy on 07923 579042 to let him know you’re coming so we don’t leave without you.

The parish name, Topcroft, is very probably derived from 'the croft or enclosure at the top'. The church stands on one of the highest points in South Norfolk and the top of the tower has been used as a principal observation point by the Ordnance Survey.
